Certified Copies
Notary Services Ontario can notarize or certify a copy of a document as a true and accurate copy of the orginal document. 
In order to certify a document as a true copy, our Notary Public must first examine the original document and compare it to the copy.  Once our Notary Public is satisfied that the copy is a true copy of the original, he will sign the document and affix the notary public seal on the document to certify it as a true copy.
Preparing for your Appointment
Please prepare and bring the following to your appointment:
  • the original document; and
  • the copy of the original document.
A Notary Public can not certify a copy of a document unless he has examined and compared it to the original document.
